Caring Together

Ageing Together is an accredited aged care facility offering high and low care, plus dementia specific care, in a secure and peaceful environment.

A personal profile of each resident ensures that we understand his or her cultural, medical, religious and social background so that we can provide a flexible, whole of person response.

We encourage the development of a welcoming community that enhances a sense of belonging, and ensures quality of life in a social setting, by providing residents with the opportunity to engage with others or relax privately in peaceful surroundings.

Residents are always treated with dignity and are encouraged to maintain their independence for as long as they are able. Our dementia specific wing has its own safe, secure dining and lounge overlooking a private courtyard and garden.

Facilities & Activities

Internal facilities at Ageing Together include a multi-faith chapel, movie theatre room, bar, hairdressing and beauty treatments salon, spa bathroom on each level, lifts, lounge, reading room, private dining room and dining rooms on each level, BBQ and entertainment areas overlooking Scotchman's Creek.

Meals are prepared on-site by qualified chefs using fresh, seasonal ingredients. In consultation with a trained dietician, a changing variety of well balanced, healthy, appetising dishes are available. These include low salt, vegetarian, diabetic and culturally appropriate cuisines.

A range of activities are available including gardening, art and music therapy, movies, outings, religious services and special events. Birthday celebrations can be held either in a private dining room, if privacy is required, or in an appropriate communal area.

Quality Aged Care Outcomes

Our focus is on the provision of a dynamic, holistic approach to care which is responsive to the individual requirements of our residents. The purpose built facilities are designed to assist with the delivery of appropriate levels of care.

Managed by our Director of Nursing, Ageing Together provides a coordinated and informed approach to achieving quality aged care outcomes at all levels.

All rooms, including ensuites, are equipped with a 24-hour emergency call button that ensures a rapid response by trained, qualified staff.

On-site ancillary services include dietary, massage, medical, optometry, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry and speech therapy.

Families and friends are able to relax knowing that their loved ones can 'Age in place' while receiving the best of care in a secure, welcoming atmosphere supported by qualified and caring staff.
